Liked The quietness, the organisation and layout, The dog walk was beautiful. We loved the lakes and the animals nearby. Really nothing to fault. We have stayed at sights in highbridge before and they have all been really good but this one is the one we will always try and return to as it’s so stunning and peaceful. It’s half way home for us so breaks up our drive when we have been up to see family. It really was 2 days of complete relaxation and ended our holiday perfectly.

Liked That the family’s with children were all in one field. (My collie appreciated this to!!!) The toilets and showers were really clean all the time!! Lots of spacious pitches. Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee and snacks available which gives you options if you don’t want to bring as much food.

Liked So peaceful with the most amazing view. Very small and so much wildlife to see and hear. There was an owl hooting in the tree opposite every afternoon we were there but I never got to see it. Also really close to some fab places to eat. We will definitely come again and for longer next time

Liked Small site, very peaceful with good access to York and surrounding areas. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Some really lovely walks by the river.

Liked Very quiet, considering how big the park is. Very well maintained and managed. Lovely location and close to the beaches. Very big spacious pitch. Clean and well managed. Toilets and kitchen areas were spotless

Disliked Although clean the showers were scolding hot with no way to change the temperature. Seemed to get hotter the longer I was in there and the amount of time the timer was on for meant you only had a few seconds of water before needing to push it again.

Liked The neatly kept pitches, the spotless toilets, the homely feel, the attention to detail and the twinkling fairy lights. Also the fact it was small and adults only as we have a reactive dog who’s wound up by screaming kids and all the other sites nearby are packed with them. Lots have said about the road being noisy which worried me at first but I had the best sleep of our entire trip the 3 nights we were there so i wasn’t bothered by it. Obviously if you’re a light sleeper it would be an issue but we felt the noise was minimal considering. Our dogs also begged us each day to go in the dog walking area. It’s fab. They loved the toys and would of stayed in it all day if they could 😂

Liked THE VIEW!!! First and foremost it is amazing!! Waking to the sunrise every morning walking down the fields to the cost path and watching the sun set each night!! The toilets and showers are kept really clean and the owner is very helpful and friendly. There is also a hut which has a kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer in it which we thought was a nice touch

Disliked For people who love to be connected the wifi is shocking but if you want to get away from everything like we did you won’t be to bothered and if you need to use it for anything important you can go to the little green hut next to the toilets where the connection is strongest. It really wasn’t a big deal.

Disliked The toilets, men’s were very dirty on arrival (some very disgusting men out there!!) and they had t been checked recently. When we reported it though they cleaned it immediately.
