Very generous grass pitches in pleasant surroundings. Only a 15 minute walk to local pub for excellent food.
Gordon the warden very pleasant and helpful.
Good value for money at present but will certainly increase on arrival of new facilities block.

The issue of the old original toilet/shower block is an obvious bugbear. It is not ideal with only one WC and one shower. New modular facilities are on order but have still to materialise. The concrete base and plumbing have been installed but the actual toiilet block modules are still being manufactured. If they live up to Mcguire's high standards they should be worth the wait.

Lovely place to stay, the guy managing it is very friendly and helpful. Small village within a 1 mile walk with a small pub and train station.
Overall great visit, the weather also helped.

Only downfall is the toilet facilities with there only being 1 shower and toilet. But been advised they are awaiting new toilets to be fitted asap.

Absolutely love this touring park. It’s being developed and improved day by day, yet still keeps that peaceful, quiet atmosphere that’s hard to find.

The warden is incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which makes the whole stay even better.

A great place to relax and unwind with a really positive future ahead of it. You can tell a lot of care is going into the site.

Loved staying here and I’ll definitely be returning again soon.

Location was stunning and Gordon the warden was extremely friendly and helpful

Only slight gripe was we were allocated a pitch which no longer exists as it was where the new shower block is being built. Thankfully Gordon sorted us out.

Well kept large pitches with a sense of privacy. Good onsite staff.

Poor shower block needs updated..arrived expecting a certain pitch number only to find no pitch as they were being renovated.rang the office line but as they are 30 Miles away they couldn't really give us another pitch but the on site staff sorted us out..electric cut off in early hours we didn't complain as we were leaving on that morning .

Very friendly and helpful staff. The site is still being updated, but very neat and tidy and will be fab when completed. Pitch was level. Will happily stay there again if in the area.

The new toilet and shower block has not yet been completed so still using the old one. However it was clean and tidy.

Warden (Gordon) was a top guy. Really friendly with loads of local knowledge to help you get the most out of your stay.

Facilities are currently being upgraded so at present you are using dated (but adequate) washroom facilities. It is camping.

Great site with lovely surroundings and the site caretaker was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the area! Great pub with good food a short walk away. Would definitely go back

Large pitches, good location. The warden is very welcoming & friendly. Toilets are being replaced this month & will add another star as well as the new landscaping.
