Motor fans won’t want to miss the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This event – which quite rightly labels itself the “world's greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture” – is in the manicured parkland of a stately home. It’s an event where you can get up close and personal to F1 vehicles, meet international motorsports stars, and watch supercars racing during their international debuts.
With so much to do at the venue, it’s worth spending a couple of days here at least by sleeping at a campsite near Goodwood Festival of Speed. There are back-to-basics options for a wild camping experience, as well as glamping parks with access to high-end facilities like hot tubs.
Relax far enough away from the revving noises at a peaceful spot on a traditional Hampshire or West Sussex farm. Or stay among the South Downs’ eye-catching chalk ridges at a campsite near Goodwood Festival of Speed.
