Looking for somewhere surrounded by fabulous natural landscapes and with lots of family facilities for your downtime? Within the coastal landscape of Ebro Delta Natural Park, Camping Eucaliptus should make the cut, with its family pool surrounded by shady palm trees and the light, airy on-site La Mar del Delta Restaurant serving up a traditional regional menu of rice dishes and fresh seafood. You could easily spend a day simply bouncing between the pool and various tasty plates of food – either from the restaurant or cooked up at the site's covered barbecue area (handily, there's also a well-stocked supermarket here). Kids will probably want to spend a bit of time at the play zones and sports field too, while canine guests get their daily exercise at the dedicated dog-friendly zone. It's certainly worth getting out to explore your surroundings, though – this location is a mere 15 minutes’ walk from Eucaliptus Beach and well within reach of popular birdwatching spots like Tancada Lagoon (15 minutes’ drive). You can also arrange cycling excursions through the rice fields (great for kids gaining biking confidence, as the routes are flat), or book boat trips down the Ebro River. And despite being so deeply embedded in nature, the site is only a 20-minute drive from Amposta, a traditional town where the architecture ranges from medieval to modernist.

Liked Camping familiar, zona estupenda del camping, naturaleza, animales cercanos.
Restaurante espectacular con la comida sin palabras , que buena paella, y carnes.

Disliked Para los que vais tienda o comanche , no elegir la zona de salida a la playa dentro del camping,hay una turbina que nivela el nivel del agua y cada 3h se pone en marcha durante 20 minutos, por la noche también funciona y se escucha mucho, porque no vais a descansar, luego los que tienen animales ,acceso de salida a la playa por dentro del camping deben de saber que no es un pipican eso, si los animales hacen sus necesidades deberían de saber que las parcelas están a la vista y el olor cuando defecan van a las parcelas colindantes , el camping no pueden decir nada porque es fuera , pero podrían tener ojo para los que se alojan cerca de esa puerta.
Luego está que a las 23h esa puerta de acceso se cierra , pero hay jóvenes que eso les da igual , saltan la puerta y arreglado, hay cámaras enfocadas a la puerta , pero no hay personal para estar mirando cámaras todo el rato, el camping solo tiene una sola zona de baños y duchas, limpieza de platos y basura , los que están en la otra punta deben dar un paseo hasta esa zona .
El wifi a la zona del acceso a la playa, no llega, hay repetidores pero ya os lo digo , ahí no llega señal de wifi.
Íbamos a estar una semana , pero estuvimos 2 días , aun así los del camping actuaron perfecto y nos entendieron perfectamente y nos devolvieron el importe por los días que no estuvimos, que al entrar al camping cuando se llega se paga el alojamiento ( lo dice el contrato).
Parcela con agua no es, es parcela con grifo bajo, no es una pica y no hay pica, es agua potable para adherir manguera para autocaravanas o caravanas, pero los que van con tienda no la vais a usar, ya que está prohibido varias cosas con el agua .

2 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow (comfort, five person)

Liked Der Pool (Salzwasser) ist toll, die Natur, die Eukalyptusbäume, die Nähe zum Meer und das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde sich um alles sehr gut gekümmert, der Platz ist sehr gepflegt. Der Supermarkt hat eine kleine aber gute Auswahl und ist nicht zu teuer.
Der Bungalow war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es fehlte fast nichts, bis auf einen mittleren Topf vielleicht und eine kleine Pfanne. Ein großer Topf und eine Pfanne passten nicht zusammen aufs Kochfeld.

Disliked Kein W-Lan in der gesamten Woche, war man doch mal verbunden gab es kein Internet über das W-Lan.

Der Bungalow war in einem eher schlechten Zustand. Unsere Kinder (5+7h haben die Türen nicht auf und zu bekommen. Es war sehr eng und die Küchenschränke oder zumindest die Arbeitsplatte und Silikonfugen könnten erneuert werden. Wir hatten einen Bungalow in der Nähe der Rezeption und der Waschräume und da war es sehr laut und geschäftig.

Das Restaurant ist etwas teuer und unser Kellner sprach kein Englisch und war auch ansonsten nicht besonders freundlich.

Local attractions

Those who like to spend time watching wildlife will be in a top location at Camping Eucaliptus. On top of having easy access to Tancada Lagoon and boat trips on the Ebro Delta (both 15 minutes’ drive), just up the road is Riet Vell Nature Reserve (10 minutes’ walk), where birds like pink flamingos can be spotted among the wetlands. The Ecomuseum (15 minutes) in Deltebre has lots of exhibits about the nature and history of the local area, and the Ebro Lands Museum (20 minutes) is a good starting point to learn about the local heritage and the traditional llagut boats used on the delta. If you’re planning plenty of beach time for your holiday, Playa del Trabucador (15 minutes) should absolutely be on your radar. This long strip of sand has water on both sides; one side faces the Mediterranean Sea and the other faces the Bay of Alfaques. Waterfront cycling and kayaking are popular activities here. Back inland, you may fancy a trip to the Tinença de Benifassà Natural Park (an hour) to spend a day on the trails through pine and olive trees that encircle the turquoise waters of Ulldecona Reservoir, or wander through the historic centre of Amposta (20 minutes), known for its modernist buildings.
