What customers say
Campers love the generous, "wild" feel, picking spots in lovely countryside. It's a tranquil getaway, with many enjoying the riverbanks and nature. Facilities are basic but neat and work well, with hot showers getting a thumbs up. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Occasional overgrown bits, old facilities, and toilets needing more cleans are noted. Some campers heard noise from others when busy.

Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked Although it was crowded down by the river, there was plenty of space in a higher field. I love the location of this site as it's not far from the Tamar bridge.

An amazing site ran by lovely people. Will come again.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked A fantastic site, so much space and it's beautiful. We managed to get a spot in the shade by the river and relaxed happily for a whole week. It was quieter in this field because you couldnt have your car by your tent. There were only a few people here so was lovely and peaceful. Much busier in other fields. Great Polish food truck and also a pizza van too. The owners were lovely and tried their best to keep everyone happy. A stunning place and will be coming again.
Disliked Not much to dislike as we chose a quiet camp area. Wouldn't have liked some of the other areas as there were loads of kids and was busy. Pretty noisy and some annoying people. Was the peak of August though so was expected.

Absolutely lush, but take a nose peg if using their loos!!
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked Love the vibe, the space the option to be involved with camp life or be secluded from the world. Staff are super friendly and just a really lovely place to be.
Disliked Loos aren’t great. Pretty dirty and smelly. Don’t think I saw them get cleaned the whole 10 days I was there.

Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)

Really liked it, convenient, lovely scenery. Definitely recommend
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked Options of different fields etc. Facilities were mostly good, and a good amount.
Food on site and availability of campfires, bins etc was good. Felt like a lot of thought had gone into it.
Disliked A few minor problems with some facilities (one very cold shower, and one with slipping mats, one toilet wouldnt flush) but mostly to be expected. and a lack of soap (but a good amount of toilet paper.
The only thing we were a bit unsure of, was the rule of no driving on site after 9pm, a bit of a problem if you want to go out locally in the eve, or dont make it back from an outing in time.

Not a quiet site at peak times.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked The onsite pizza van.
The amount of space and freedom to choose.
The friendly check in.
The scenery.
Disliked Litter left by previous campers (cigarette buts and wet wipes hanging in the hedges).
Leaking toilet sinks and filthy toilet paper.
Onsite event all afternoon with megaphones spoiling the peace and quiet.
Partying till 10pm.
Howling and barking dogs.
Awoken in night by arguing people and cars driving past my tent.
I wasn't happy with my experience compared to other sites where I've paid the same. The site clearly needs better supervision and regular checking for litter & cleanliness when busy and rules about quiet times made more visible.

Overall we loved this place, especially my partner and son.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked Large selection of pitches to choose from with 1 great for viewing the sunset. Goats in 1 of the fields in a pen and sometimes let out for stroking. Haybales available at this time useful for privacy and shelter.
Great for dogs, very dog friendly.
Great Polish food with friendly chef Roman. Also pizza available separately. Live music on the Saturday was excellent.
Breakfast available but not always open.
Some alcohol available at the pizza takeaway.
The shower pressure was wxcellent and perfect temperature at any time of the day that we used it. Toilet roll was provided.
Great little area of the river for kids and dogs to play in with a little slide.
Disliked No campsite shop except for cold drinks and ice lollies.
Shower was thick with cobwebs and large spiders which could just use sweeping out.
