What customers say
Clean park, great staff, spacious pitches. Immaculate facilities. Play area loved by families. Coastal access is a plus. Some find toilets far, and showers can be temperamental. Occasional weekend noise.

Great, clean, very well kept site. Let down by toilet facilities
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely little site. Pitches are spacious and the site is very well kept. The playground is lovely, clean and looks fairly new. Most people stuck to the 11pm curfew. Close enough to seaside towns Scarborough and Filey (approx 30 min drive). Will be back!
Disliked Toilet blocks are quite a walk from the tent field. They are also quite small for the size of the site and I had to wait for a shower and toilet on a couple of occasions. Showers are a push button which goes off every 10 to 15 seconds and they weren’t very warm. Also kids messing about in the toilet block (presumably while waiting for their parents) or just being left to their own devices in general. Some of the kids on site were a bit unruly but I guess it was the summer holidays and the site was full most days.

Excellent
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Just come back from a 4 night stay. Fantastic campsite. Friendly staff who personally came over at check in time and gave loads of useful information. The general atmosphere is lovely. The toilet blocks were really clean and nice. Its worth noting that if you have a shower you do have to repeatedly press the button every 20 or so seconds but they are hot. The family bathroom was a really good bonus with young children as you could bath them etc and excellent baby change facilities.
The Children's playground was also really well kept and clean with decent play equipment.
The sink washing/laundry facilities were also really well kept and clean and there is also a lovely little tourist hut with local info/bookswap etc!
No criticisms at all and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for families - lots of…
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Perfect for families - lots of children so always someone for my children to play with and felt comfortable letting kids be kids. The paved paths and gated entry meant it felt safe for children to ride their bikes around. The site was kept incredibly clean and the pitches were beautiful. Reasonably priced for a fully serviced hard standing touring pitch. There's absolutely loads to do in the area - country pubs and cafes including some with play areas are a short drive or bike ride away. Site team were absolutely lovely, professional, helpful and friendly.
Disliked Needs a pump on the family bathroom shower as at first, we turned it to hot and absolutely nothing came out due to such low pressure not even able to push it up to the shower head. Had to call someone out to mess about with it.

Pro's and con's with this site
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Clean toilet/shower area, hot water available, but limited on a 15 second button that has to be pressed constantly to keep water flowing
Tidy, well maintained pitches
Disliked Poor tv reception on site
Beware if you get a pitch close to the toilet/shower block. Pitch 11 and 12 would be hit hard on peace and quiet of constant noise of hand dryers 24/7.
Plus other campers will take short cuts across your pitch to get to the shower block and it's an extremely noisy area. Limited privacy during busy times when block is in full use.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear you found the park clean and enjoyed the friendly welcome from our team. It's also great to know the toilet and shower facilities met your expectations.
Whilst we don't have a dedicated on-site dog exercise field, we're fortunate to have some lovely dog-friendly walks nearby. Our wardens are dog owners themselves and are always happy to recommend local walks, beaches and places to visit with four-legged friends – just ask during your stay.
We hope to welcome you and your dog back again in the future.
