What customers say
Well-kept, clean site with ample, flat pitches & helpful staff. Facilities are spotless. Great for exploring the coast. Weekdays are quiet, weekends are family-friendly and lively. Showers are timed & can be a walk from pitches, but management is listening.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear you found the park clean and enjoyed the friendly welcome from our team. It's also great to know the toilet and shower facilities met your expectations.
Whilst we don't have a dedicated on-site dog exercise field, we're fortunate to have some lovely dog-friendly walks nearby. Our wardens are dog owners themselves and are always happy to recommend local walks, beaches and places to visit with four-legged friends – just ask during your stay.
We hope to welcome you and your dog back again in the future.

Showers not fit for purpose
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The staff are lovely and keep the site looking great, they are very polite and are there if you have issues,
Disliked This is where I have to be honest,
As a very seasoned camper over 35yrs the toilets might be perfectly clean but fail, on quality the toilets themselves are kept pristine and smell wonderful, but I am disabled with joint and severe skin issues to the point I take biological injections to reduce my skin flare ups but this does mean I have zero immune system, the main bathroom showers are not fit for purpose, at best you get 10 seconds of water flow and very poor flow, and at times it was around 3 seconds, and whilst I agree with this system these showers are very small take several pushes to get the water warm and you spend longer than normal just trying to get a decent shower, so actually not saving water, the disabled/family bathroom is a great idea but not with that useless shower, it’s a trickle at best, and because the other showers are awful other non family/disabled people use this toilet, the shower blocks actually need upgrading and a new block put on the camping field this would be better than the long walk to the toilets, and those with small children and disabled like myself found the toilets to far, and thankgod I took my porta loo, and I like to shower everyday, we came home a day early not just because of the toilets but other campers not monitoring thier kids, constantly running in the woods behind the tents, footballs being launched and idiots who think they have a right to make as much noise as possible, the warden actually told them twice to settle down for the owner of the site to say they go Sunday, so because it was a huge group people like us either left or put up with it, we won’t be returning and that’s quite sad but with the lack of decent shower blocks, and campers running a mock this as been a very honest review, and as I say the staff are brilliant but you must take note on the toilet/shower blocks that a lot of people have pointed out they are not fit for purpose,

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We're pleased to hear you found our toilet facilities to be clean, fresh and well maintained, and that our staff made a positive impression during your stay.
We're sorry to hear that you felt our shower facilities did not meet your expectations. As these concerns were not raised with our team during your stay, we were unfortunately unable to investigate them at the time. The showers are regularly checked and maintained, and while they operate on a timed push-button system to help conserve water, they should provide a consistent flow throughout use. We will, however, ensure they are checked again following your comments.
With regards to the atmosphere on the park, for much of your stay there were only a handful of camping guests on site. It was only on the final night, as the weekend arrivals came in, that the camping field became much busier. When concerns about noise were brought to our attention, our wardens spoke to the group on more than one occasion, as we do take the comfort of all guests seriously.
We appreciate that every campsite will not be the right fit for every guest, and we're sorry to hear we're not the right one for you. We thank you for your feedback and wish you all the best with your future camping holidays.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely clean friendly site for families. Great location for the beach - around a 20 min drive to scarborough.
Facilities and clean and modern, and the grounds are immaculately kept.
Disliked Showers only stay on for about 10 seconds without pressing the button !
In an ideal word there would be another small toilet block in the cherry meadows field - it feels like a long walk in the middle of the night!
