Beautiful well maintained site with excellent facilities
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked A beautifully idyllic and well maintained site that served us well for an overnight stay in the area. The instructions to get there seem difficult at first but the farm was incredibly easy to find. As we were driving up the track, we saw deer and rabbits - and of course the kept menagerie living on farm were a huge bonus and extremely friendly and well looked after. The pitches are large and well spaced out so that conversations and quiet noise doesnt drift over to the other guests. We were delighted to be able to use the firepit easily and safely. We were also pleasantly surprised by the intermittent signal - enough at least to be able to send assurance to family that we'd made it safely. Bathroom facilities were ample for the number of guests and were very pleasant - not just your standard portaloos! We bought some sausages from the shop for our breakfast and both agreed they were deliciously juicy. It's only a shame we weren't able to try the bacon too. If we're ever back in the area, this site will be top of my list to check for vacancies.
Would stay again definitely.
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved this site. If you like quirky off the beaten track. All the facitlities you need we even found our phones worked just! Close to Strateford.
Disliked Nothing can be done about it but quite alot of road noise. Due to two sets of gates and track to get down you wouldn't want to be coming and going. Second set of gates I hurt myself trying to close them could do with a little attention.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked A perfect location for a camping getaway with the children! The camping meadow was brilliant - great size pitches, fire pits, numerous local walks close by and sheep/pigs/chickens to help entertain the children. The apple orchard was also in full blossom and looked incredible. Will absolutely be staying again!
Disliked Nothing.

Great spot for quiet countryside camping with good facilities.
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Gorgeous location, with a nice camping field with pitches spread out and their own firepits. Decent facilities and very close to the Farm Shop, and a short walk to the local pub.

Lovely
Windsor bell tent (deluxe)
Liked Lovely bell tent, pitch included, BBQ, picnic table with gazebo, plates, knives, forks, spoons, mugs and plastic wine glasses, single burner gas stove and kettle, your own water tap. Communal fridge/freezer. The grandchildren loved all the animals and got to bottle feed the calfs. Lovely friendly owners. We stayed in the Spartan Bell Tent.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great massive pitches with your own fire pit, pitches are spaced out which gives you plenty of room and privacy. Several toilets and showers on site not far from the pitches. Handy wheelbarrows to get your stuff from the car to the pitch which were a life saver.
