What customers say

Great spot, well-kept, peaceful, with friendly staff and decent facilities. Clean loos and showers, ample pitches, nice dog walks and fishing. Handy for Silverstone/Bicester. A few small gripes: showers can be cramped, occasional noise. Recommended for a chill break.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely site, tucked away from main roads,so very quiet. Only two MH and two caravans when we stayed, as an overnighter on way to Portsmouth, so very quiet. Small site with a very lovely dog walk.
Will definitely book again for next year, as we’re going on ferry to France from Portsmouth.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Lovely friendly staff. Nice sized pitch for fully serviced. Toilet blocks clean. Great onsite walk around lake and the forest dog walk. Good location for Silverstone & Towcester races.

Disliked Small loose gravel on pitch easily dragged into caravan.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Relaxed clean site, fishing great set up.
Friendly staff.
Safe dog walking area in a lovely setting.

Disliked Local pub is a bit of a walk along the road without a pavement. Not the fault of the site but worth mentioning.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The reception staff were helpful and the pitch was good. All the usual amenities were available, but as we only stayed the 2 nights and were visiting relatives off-site for most of our stay, we didn't even look at the fishing or anything else.

Disliked The approach road was very narrow and I would hate to have met a large truck!
Additionally, (beyond the sites' control) diversions around the extensive works for HS2 were very poor and the road surfaces are attrocious!

Local attractions

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
