What customers say
Spacious campsite, great countryside views, direct access to Lathkill Dale walks. Owners are super friendly and helpful, lots of space and pitch options. Facilities are clean and modern. Food vans and small shop are a bonus. Peaceful, though some weekends get busy. A top spot for exploring the Peak District!

Nice location easy access to Bakewell
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Food stalls are excellent washing and toilets excellent . Owners attentive friendly and polite
Disliked Pitches smaller than expected for twin axel grounds a like unkempt electric hook ups limited more of a camping site. Sometimes noisy because it's a working farm

From the manager: Hi Ian, thanks for your review, good news for anyone reading this review our new hook up pitches are now finished and ready to book, they are larger pitches with better views and a brand new electric supply away from the farm noise and smells.

Liked The views were nice and a nice touch there was a pizza horse box, horse box bar and horse box kitchen onsite.
Disliked Although the toilet and shower blocks look fairly new they were very dirty. We checked in around 2pm on the Saturday and left lunchtime Sunday and not once had the toilets been cleaned.

Fantastic, this campsite is one not to be missed.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Great camp site, amazing views, clean showers and toilets, great food options on site, (although the girl taking Pizza orders was moody unhelpful and clearly hates her job) but Pizza tasted fantastic as did Annie's Kitchen. We will definitely be back, plenty of walking from site, very peaceful. Take a bin bag for rubbish, onsite skip for rubbish is at the entrance and that seems to be the only bin, none by the food Vans.
Disliked Nothing to dislike. Apart from only booking 2 nights!
