Friendly staff, nice club for evenings out. Spotless toilet and shower block.Disliked: Pitch was a bit small, had to traverse a steep hill and very tight turn to get to it

Liked: Everything was on its toes. Staff friendly and helpful. More than one toilet block all very clean. Home cooked reasonably priced food in the restaurant. There was a lovely atmosphere in the bar with a variety of entertainment each evening. We took the campsite minibus into Totnes which fun. The pitches are well looked after and the site is on different levels with plenty of character. Lots to do in the area.
Disliked: We didn’t feel able to walk anywhere from the site as it was on a busy road.
It sounds like you really have enjoyed your time with us and sampled most of the facilities and services on offer. There is a public bridleway accessible from our arrivals parking area which would safely take you to Marldon. Perhaps next time we can make sure you know all about this and can provide more detailed information for you. See you again on your next visit to the area.

Liked: The pitches, the staff, Shower and Toilet block, in fact all facilities.
Disliked: Main road very busy on exit. No nearby bus stop (approx 25 minute walk)
Thank you for your review. It is a shame that the public bus service is just under a mile away and we're afraid we can't do anything about that but we do have our own minibus service which is very popular and has been well supported. Hopefully you took a few trips out on that to Torquay and Paignton.

Liked: Large pitches even on the basic rate. A lovely campsite with lots of things to do. Entertainment every night in the on site pub.
Toilets where really good a clean along with the site.Staff really helpful and always there if needed, the site put on trips to the two local towns.
Over all a very good site.
Disliked: Often would take a while to be let in/out of the site's barrier. Had to ask to be let out a few times.
Expensive WiFi
Apologies if you the odd problem at the barrier. It does happen every now and again where it is sensitive to certain number plates. We try hard to make sure it's smooth running for you but on the plus side it does demonstrate we are trying to keep you safe whilst staying here and we're pleased you liked all the facilities and services we provided. Liked: Pitch size. cleanliness of the site, toilets and showers. On-site club was great and cheap drinks. Staff polite and very helpful.
Disliked: Chemical toilet waste. Nothing to stop waste splashing back and hose left to rest in the waste area.

Liked: This is the second time we have stayed at this campsite and we just can not fault it. We visited last year, rebooked for this year and will definitely be booking for next. On arrival and around the campsite, staff are always so helpful and friendly. Great level pitches for the camper and awning. Facilities are spotless, we love how quiet and peaceful it is, also like the security of the camp. We really enjoy our stay here and so glad we found it last year, we will definitely keep returning.
