As a first time camper travelling on my own I was immediately put at ease on my arrival by the helpful and friendly receptionist. I had a lovely pitch from where I could enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities on the site were excellent.
A great location with easy access to nearby Teignmouth and Brixham.Disliked: Nothing
so clean and the best showers I have ever seen . and staff so helpful

Liked: Excellent stay great pitch, restaurant and bar entertainment.
Disliked: Don’t rely on the mini bus running as picked because of this but it only ran one day. Be prepared to spend £20 ew on a taxi to Torquay. Some road noise.
We shall be looking forward to seeing you again. Hopefully next time more people will want to book on to the minibus. It can only run with a minimum number of people and sadly during your time here not many people needed to use this service as they used their own transport.

Very near a busy, noisy duel carriageway
We are glad you've enjoyed the facilities and commented on how friendly our team of staff are. It was a pleasure to have you staying with us. Sadly, some people are more sensitive than others to the road. It's a difficult balance having no narrow lanes and so proximity to the road is unavoidable. We are sorry though that this element wasn't suitable for you but we do hope that if you were in the area again you could book on and perhaps select a pitch further into the park where you may find it quieter. In the meantime, happy holidaying.
