Steve was a great host explained where everything was on our arrival then left us too it . Level area to park in the car park . Shower, toilet , and Elsan clean and easy to access.

We did not go into the pub but it was busy and it has great reviews for the food .

Proximity to the pub, which serves great food, is dog friendly and very welcoming. Basic, but perfectly adequate, facilities. We didn’t use the shower, but it was there!

Convenient stop on route to Scotland, its basically parking up in the pub car park.

Men’s toilets could of been a little cleaner

An excellent value campsite, with amazing hospitality. There was loads of covered outdoor spaces with seating, ideal for camping in bad weather. Has a nice, clean, hot shower. The camping area is behind the pub, it is flat, well maintained and has plenty of picnic benches to use.
A great place for a quiet stop over on the way to Scotland.

Contrary to the listing info on pitch up, the toilets are always open and the key for the shower are available from 6:30am onwards.

Friendly helpful staff.

The steps from camping field are unlit, very steep, with no hand rail.
It's a case of "when not if" someone falls down them at night (or day) to get to the toilet.
High bar prices e.g. £5.75 for a can, yes a can, of Guinness. Best part of £20 for 4 pints of larger.

A lovely little spot attached to a great pub with lovely food and all facilities on hand
