The site is just right in everything, size - perfect not to big, toilets - most important - clean and seemed enough for the site, shop - small compact but sufficient for the site, location - best around for getting anywhere.

Lovely tidy pitches, a quiet site with nice clean facilities. Beautiful location and a lovely family friendly site. We had a nice welcome with all the information you will need for your stay.

Pitches were slightly uneven, so you may need levellers.

Well designed site with lovely level pitches. Fresh water comes from their own bore whole :)

Although quite a big site, high hedges divided areas so it felt smaller. A very good toilet block. And breakfast baps if required each morning!

We didn't find anything to dislike.

The pitches were spacious and conveniently located for access to water and waste disposal. The showers and toilets were clean and well presented and the staff were very helpful.

There was often quite a queue for the showers. Not the end of the world and wouldn't prevent me from booking again.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was fabulous, can’t wait to go back , wonderful staff and very helpful.

Nothing to dislike

The gentle ambience of the campsite is my takeaway. Families with young children playing with plenty of room for them to play without upsetting the quieter holidaymakers. I’d say the site leans more toward adult happiness than children, so no rampaging kids because the adults seemed to be in charge. I know what some people have said but we didn’t experience anything negative. Our motorbike with around 300kilo fully laden, managed the steep driveway without difficulty and the very tight S-bend road before the site was a pillion test that we passed with flying colours thankfully. The seclusion and setting of the campsite are what we wanted and that’s what we got. The owners are really nice and engaging. The site itself is very well maintained. The shop offers enough to get by and prices are fair. Everyone seemed happy. We’ll worth a visit.
