It was a nice stop off for us not far from the lakes

Liked Flat pitches, very clean, views, pub just around the corner
Disliked We were given the wrong code to access the toilet/showers but someone from another pitch gave us the correct code
I think it would be nice to be allowed on the pitch before 3pm and allowed to leave later than 10am

May 2026 Liked Lovely site, generous size pitches and level. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. Well maintained grounds and 2 very spacious individual toilet/shower blocks. We had a meal in the Royal Oak which was very nice and generous portions. Wi-Fi included in the price.

May 2025 Liked Peaceful, walking distance to lovely village with pubs, cafe, bakery, shops and canal close by, spacious pitches, water tap right next to pitches, good TV signal
Disliked Could only be made better by having toilet/shower facilities, Wi-Fi a bit hit & miss
