Liked LOVED IT
Lovely site. Would 100% recommend. Showers and facilities are fabulous and very clean. We got lucky on the second night and got a full view of the magical carpet of stars above us.

Fully-serviced grass caravan site
Liked Excellent large well maintained pitches. Good check in. Site is secure.
The reason for 4, and it would be 4.9 if we could, its just that I wouldn't say this was a quiet site. It's a family site. That's not a bad thing it's just an observation.
Description does say family run. 80% of sites are seasonal and mostly families with lots of children running across pitches and a loose (looked friendly) little dog.
This place is perfect if you have children. Review isn't meant critically just personal taste.

Liked Location and views. We walked and cycled out direct from the site. Don't miss The Old Cheese Shop in Hartington.

Power optional concrete slab caravan site
Liked Lovely spacious pitches, great dog walking, pub 15/20 min walk to pub (off road) and a helpful Leon (Manager) what more could you want. Some great cycle routes down very quiet tracks too.
Don't let the thought of paying for electric separately put you off, it would be short sighted. We were there 5 days with TV or laptops and the kettle going most of the time and it was £7 so the overall pitch price is good.
We'll definitely be back 😊

Liked The staff are really friendly, the food is well priced and tasty and the pitches are flat. We don't ask for any more than that and that's what we got :-)
Roast was delicious and a great plate of food. We ate and drunk a few times in the pub which is well managed from a CV19 perspective.
Great site for walks, Thames Head is about 15 minute walk from the site. We also rode down into the Cotswolds Water Park, about 20 minutes. There are some designated "quiet roads" which are lovely to cycle!
Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.
Didn't use any hygiene facilities as closed due to CV19
Disliked Constructive comment, and please take it as such, as it definitely wouldn't stop us coming back but the one thing missing for us was an outlet for waste water that can be done from main van tank and thats only to make life easy. There are a couple of drains in the pub car park but of course peoples perception is that you are disposing of something else so we wouldn't have dreamt of using them.
