Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England
Powered grass tent site (medium, maximum 4-berth)
Liked Loads of great facilities, probably some of the best we've experienced. Food and drinks on site, and we had a singer for one of the evenings.
Disliked We booked a 'large' pitch for a 6-berth tent. We have a Berghaus Air 6 XL and whilst the tent did just about fit in the pitch, there was no room for our car alongside it. Thankfully, some guys opposite us allowed us to park on their spare space.

Powered grass tent site
Liked The pitches are fairly spacious and it was cheaper than most places for the bank holiday weekend.
Disliked Very muddy, some areas very untidy, rubbish dumped by the washing station, pub was closed the whole time we were there.

Llanfair Waterdine, Shropshire, England
Unpowered grass caravan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Nice pitches, generally flat with only a few lumps and bumps. The facilities are some of the best we've ever seen. The showers, toilets, and kitchen area were all in excellent condition and very clean. There are even communal microwave, fridge, and kettle. The site is on the intersection of a number of footpaths so you can walk straight off the site for a nice stroll. Fire pits and barbecues are allowed, too.

Powered concrete and grass site (premium)
Liked The site is one of the best I have ever stayed on. It has a mixture of static caravans, cabins, caravans, and tents. Everything is well laid out and very well maintained. The grass areas throughout the site are good enough that a groundsman would be proud of the job. The toilets for the campers and caravaners are well presented, very clean, and even heated!

Oswestry, Shropshire, England
Unpowered grass and earth tent or motorhome site
Liked Good facilities a short walk from the camp site. It was nice to watch the horses meandering around their fields, next to the tents.
Disliked It's a very hilly site so I'm not sure if it would be a good choice if the site is booked up as there would be little choice of a pitch not on a fair slope.

Power optional grass tent site
Liked Loads of room and well kept space for campers. The lady we met was very friendly and it was delightful to meet Lily the lamb bouncing around and being generally cute. All facilities are present and in good condition. The campsite intersects a number of different footpaths so it's a good base to launch on a walk in the Shropshire countryside.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback, so glad you met our lamb as she will not be like this for long, she will go and grow up. Glad you enjoyed the site and what it has to offer, hope to see you soon, Ted
