Liked Lovely quiet site with plenty of dog walking space, showers and toilets. The site was down a narrow lane from the village of Leven. In the village, which was a short walk away there was a small supermarket and a well stocked butchers shop / deli. The pub didn't do food but there was a takeaway across the road from the pub.

Liked Wonderful peaceful site with all amenities which were clean and tidy. Great dog walking area. Excellent views including wildlife onsite. Lovely meal at the Five Bells, which was in walking distance. Excellent customer service from Tom, we would definitely return to this wonderful site near to a lovely village.

Liked Lovely site with all amenities and close to a village with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Near to the beach and peaceful.

Disliked Touring pitches are well away from the amenities block and some of the water taps near to our pitch were switched off / not working. Loud cannon like noises throughout the day.

Liked Very posh site, which was very well laid out and had all amenities; toilets, showers, grey waste, black waste and launderette and bins. Within walking distance to shops and takeaways passing horses in fields on the way. Lovely walks for dogs. Peaceful

Liked The site has all the normal amenities;Toilets, showers, launderette, bins, black waste and grey waste. The site was close to dog walks, shops, supermarkets and lovely pubs and a lovely fish and chip shop. Staff on the site were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Liked This visit was a return to this site that has beautiful views and walks across public footpaths through farmers fields to Masham. Has everything you need on this site, showers, toilets, water, grey waste and black waste. This site is at the rear of a very pub which serves food and is also dog friendly.

Disliked Amenities; if you are parked at the bottom of the site it is a long way to the top of the site where the bins and black waste are situated. The site is on an incline. The power was cut during our visit to do maintenance work and nobody let us know.

Liked When we arrived the site looked lovely and quite new and had a lovely dog walk just around the corner. The toilets were clean and looked new and well maintained. We didn't use the showers. There were three pubs and supermarket within a mile walk of the site.

Disliked There was no reception area to speak of and the signage was non existent. On arrival we were approached by a stranger who didn't introduce himself and asked could he help us in a rather off putting tone. The dog walk although just around the corner was on a road with no lights or pavements at night. Cars were racing past us and we felt unsafe. The same can be said of the visits to the pubs. The waste water and chemical waste is so far down the site it makes the disposal difficult for anyone with a heavy waste to lift the tank to empty it into the chemical waste. Also you are having to drag it on a pea gravelled road. Grass area in between pitches is insufficient for awnings.

Liked The Castle Inn was good value for money and the meal I had was part of the many deals that they offer. Dog walks were near by and the village has historical buildings and places of interest to visit. The toilets and the facilities were very good and easy to find. We will be staying there again in the future.

Liked Fabulous stay at Half Moon Inn. Very peaceful and superb for our dog as the dog walk was immediately behind our pitch. The pub itself served the most wonderful food that we have had from a pub for a while. Would definitely recommend this site and will return soon we hope.

Liked Absolutely beautiful site with good access to the impressive village of Hingham which has a section of shops and pub / restaurant. As we were travelling with our dog we found the site was very dog friendly and the site had all the walking facilities that our dog needed. The owner of the site was very helpful and friendly looking after the interests of the people staying on the site We will definitely return to this site and recommend it to our friends, Especially if they like to fish.

Liked What a beautiful site with a lovely area for our dog. Near to the beach and many amenities. All within walking distance.

Disliked The only things that let it down was the electric hookup cutting out during the night and many times during day, leaving the site without the benefit of electric. We also booked a hardstand for our motorhome, but when we arrived we were only shown to a grass pitch with no other option. I think that we were mis-sold stay and as there was hardly any any electric available and no hard stand, we should be refunded for lack of electricity.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area. I pitched everyone this weekend and everyone was given a choice. With the amazing weather many people chose grass pitches. I don't remember you ever stating you were not happy with the pitch, if you had I would have happily moved you. Yes we did have problems with electric and I do apologise for the electric. People need to get an understanding of what they are plugging into and what appliances can be use at one time. After all this is camping, whether in a £200 tent, £15,000 caravan or a £30.000 campervan all are plugged into 16 amps. The electric however was on all day only first thing in the mornings and at night when people bring heaters which are not suitable for camping, want to charge their phones, have lights on and some with T.V does it over load. I am glad you enjoyed our beautiful beaches.
