Liked We knew that the site was basic but it was a good place to access Suffolk and North Essex. There was 1 other camper there so was very peaceful. The facilities were as advertised. In the main field away from the camp are facilities for washing and a toilet. There was a children's play area too. On the camp area, which is clearly signposted, there were 2 Portaloo toilets. The one that was nearest to us was very clean with toilet roll and hand sanitiser. We enjoyed the quiet area and completed a walk around the farmland with views of Hedingham Castle. There are several pubs in the village that serve food and a number of local shops. We will return if in the area - it is ideal for a short stay.
