Liked This site is an absolute gem of a site, it is very close to everything like supermarkets, Skegness sea front etc. It is a remote location so if you want peace and quiet from the stress of life this is the place to visit. Dave (the site owner) is really down to earth and very helpful all round you see him around all day cleaning and cutting the grass and chatting to his visitors, he's always on hand and we was made to feel very welcome, the other staff we met was Sue & Nige who run the cafe and they're so nice as well.... The site is spotless and the fishery is really well stocked. The cafe on the fishing pool serves hot food and drinks and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, it was clean and the food always hot, nige and sue who served us are the most lovely people who always like a laugh but do their absolute best to ensure you have the best service they made us feel very welcome it's definitely worth a visit and will be back next year. Thank you Dave and the team for an lovely relaxing week....

Liked The relaxed atmosphere and the fishing pools are very well looked after. The site is spotless and the owners are a lovely couple and so friendly and Sprit the dog is so adorable. We did read some reviews about the aircraft traffic that flies over this site and yes it is on the flight path to East Midlands airport however East Midlands airport is not a major hub on a busy day not that many fly over so do not let this put you off and we actually enjoyed seeing them. Pitch 11 facing the forest is just bliss.

Disliked Nothing its definitely worth a visit and we are definitely coming back soon.

Liked Plenty of space, very relaxed atmosphere, aloud to play music, relaxed departure times, camp fires aloud.

Disliked Only dislike is the water pressure for either to outdoor sink and aqua-roll filling station, if the showers are being used it either drops to a trickle or just stops.
