Liked The site was incredibly clean. The bathroom and toilets cleaned throughout the day. The washing up area was immaculate whenever we used it. Staff on site were super friendly and helpful. The site was very quiet for camping, on the week we came it was mostly caravans it seems so that was great for us. Washing machine and dryer were great to have and very reasonably priced. Local Shop 5 mins away that has a good stock of essentials. Very central location so not too hard to get to anywhere. Devon coasts north and south both about 40 mins away and can be in Cornwall in about an hour. We had a really great 9 days here and will certainly return. Thank you

This is the third year running we have stayed here, love it!

Jul 2021

Liked Friendly owner. Never intrusive but there to help out when needed. Walked to a nearby stream and the children loved paddling. loved the new setup for bathrooms and washing up. They have spent lots of money on sprucing the site up with new fencing and things. It looks very good and the grass seems to have really recovered well as was very muddy and dead last summer. We love how laidback this site is and will definitely be back.

Disliked Small thing was a very noisy campsite next door to our field. Not really a problem for us as we were in a large group with lots of children probably making noise ourselves! May just have been because we stayed over the weekend of camp Bestival. Come prepared with heavy duty pegs if camping as some pitches are a bit rocky.

We Loved this site. Very clean facilitys and friendly, helpful owner.

Liked Chilled out and friendly vibe, loved everything. We travelled as a group of mums with our young children, were able to pitch together despite being a combination of tents and caravan, some of us electric hook up and some not. We had a wonderful week. The kids all loved exploring the site, they all made friends with the other children on the site. Its quite natural and left them free to climb trees and dig in the mud! The site owner was very helpful and provided us with lots of firewood for our fire pit. And was very helpful when we decided to stay an extra few nights. We had a great time and will be back next year.

Disliked Could do with few more showers, but we avoided showering at busy times and maybe some non communal changing rooms. But not a very big deal really

you get what you pay for here, basic but ok for the price.

Liked Beautiful area, washing machine and freezer for ice packs. Feeding the pigs. Not massively noisy but not massively quiet either most of the noise was from the campsite next door and one particularly noisy group.

Disliked Showers and toilets / wetrooms not adequate for the size of the site, and not cleaned regularly enough. long queue for a wee in the morning, not great with little ones. We had to go buy a bucket!! The campsites initial appearance put us off a bit as when you drive through it’s quite shabby and looks a bit like a dumping ground. Once you get to the camping field though it’s quite nice. One thing I really didn’t like was the lack of any soap for washing your hands in any of the toilets. Adds to the air of muckyness and unloved-ness of this place

Excellent peaceful country site. Close to beautiful beaches and walks.

May 2018

Liked We have just returned from a 5 night break at this wonderful campsite. Set in beautiful farmland, pitches were set nicely apart so we had lots of space for the kids to run around. The staff here are So friendly and attentive. I have never visited a campsite and seen people cleaning and organising so much! The showers were clean hot and powerful and enough of them that we never had to queue. We would definitely recomens this place to anyone who enjoys a quieter country site but with good facilities. We would love to come back.

Disliked Some dogs from other campers were running around off leads on a few occasions and this made us a little wary with the kids running too far across the field.
