Liked A nice small campsite with fairly flat pitches and lots of small trees so you can find privacy and shade. You can pitch up where you like which is always good. The owner sends a text on the morning with all the info you need.
2 clean toilets and 1 shower.
Great views of the countryside so nice for a few days of relaxing.
Overall had a nice stay here.
Disliked Site is a little messy and lots of pallets, old wood and stuff people has just left lying around in a heap near the entrance
The site has great potential but the messy entrance is a little off putting. A good tidy up of the site would give a much better first impression.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, particularly the spacious pitches, privacy, countryside views and the facilities, and that you found the site good value for money. We’re sorry that the area around the entrance gave you a less favourable first impression. We do keep the entrance and surrounding areas tidy, although there is a designated area near the bins where items left by campers, such as old tents and chairs, are temporarily placed before being disposed of. These items are removed as quickly as possible. There are also some pallets and timber stacked behind the toilet and shower block, rather than around the main camping areas, as part of our ongoing site maintenance and upkeep. We appreciate that everyone has a slightly different impression of a campsite, and we’ll certainly take your comments on board. We’re glad that overall you had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the setting, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Liked Second time at this site and it ticks all the boxes. Clean toilets and showers, level pitches available, great views and overall well maintained site. We will be back again!
Disliked A few larger groups were a little noisy at times but overall, it is mostly a family orientated site so by 11pm it's very quiet.
Pizza van was closed both Fri and Sat we were there which was a shame but not the site owners fault.

Liked A fab pop up campsite! A stunning location surrounding by woodland and wildlife with a river close by. At night you can hear foxes, owls and deer and by day you see woodpeckers and many more birds! Super friendly owners who are on site if you need them but leave you to enjoy your time there.
The site is planned for renovation of a golf club and leisure facilities but for now, it makes the perfect spot for a relaxing camping trip.
The pitches are super spacious on a acres of land. Pitches are flat, well maintained and short grass. There is a lovely river walk available on site too.
There is a pub called The Manor Inn about a 15 minute walk away serving great food. You can cross the field to get there but it is a farmland grazing area or you can follow the main road.
This campsite had everything we needed and offered a perfect place to stay and explore the area.
Disliked The site does have toilets, showers and a washing up area which form part of an old club house which is planned for renovation. The men's and women's are in separate parts of the building and are spacious. The men's showers were often cold and the women's are in need of some locks on the doors as they are a little more open than most would like, however, they are perfectly suitable and kept very clean so offer what you need.

Liked Beautiful location with views all around. 6 toilets and no queuing, showers £1 for 5 mins and were perfectly fine.
3 large fields to camp in so enough space and you can choose your own spot.
Fire pits available to hire and logs to buy. The owners drive around the site morning and evening so very helpful.
Loved the pizza van which is open in the evening.
Really enjoyed our stay here!
Disliked Nothing... It had everything we needed for a few nights in the countryside.

Liked The location, the views of the farmland and countryside was lovely. So many swallows flying around and the sound of the farm animals kept us entertained. Just a really nice setting. One main toilet and shower plus a porta cabin toilet and shower. No issues at all, everything worked fine. Handy washing up and recycling area with all amenities kept clean and tidy. Field is large and not overcrowded so plenty of space to pitchup up and relax. Would stay here again.
Disliked Nothing, a perfect stay.

Liked What a great little site this is. Limited pitches meant it was peaceful and the views of the farmland and woodlands were all around making it a great spot to watch the sun go down. Horses in the nearby field kept us entertained with their antics and their was plenty of birdsong to listen to. Level pitches, toilets and shower were clean and are well maintained. A washing up area, recycling bins and portable toilet waste disposable all added to a comfortable stay. Ideal location for exploring local attractions like the Iron Bridge and Blists Hill. Had a great few days here and would certainly stop again.
Disliked It is quite close to a main road so you can hear some traffic at peak times. You probably won't hear it in a van but if you are in a tent, earplugs will soon block it out and we didn't really find it an issue as it was more like white noise.
