Liked Good size pitches, wardens managed to shuffle us around so we were pitched with friends, flat level pitches, adequate basic facilities Great location with a nice walk into Stratford

Disliked Staued during Stratford Marathon, road closed outside the site, had to wait for the runners to go past, no warning from the campsite. Perhaps a note on arrival would have been a good idea

From the manager: Thank you for your review and for highlighting the positives about your stay — we’re pleased you enjoyed the pitch size, facilities, and location. In response to your comment regarding the road closure, we appreciate the frustration caused. However, this was due to the Stratford Marathon, which is an external event beyond our control. There were advance warning signs in place on the approach to the site, including a clearly visible yellow road closure notice near the entrance to the touring park. We also note that your booking consisted of five units travelling together, which was not indicated on the original paperwork. Despite this, our wardens made every effort to accommodate your group and ensure you were pitched together, which we’re glad you appreciated. We do always aim to provide helpful information on arrival, and your feedback is noted. Thank you again for staying with us.

Liked Very friendly staff, we arrived late in the evening and was made very welcome despite the lateness, was able to upgrade to ehu on arrival, god selection and choice of pitches, toilets and shower area adequate, thouroughly cleaned throughout our 4 night stay, excellent dishwasher area, good recycling facilities, great location for walking and cycling, very quiet at night, would definitely return

Liked Very friendly staff, especially upon arrival. Good serviced pitches, level. First class amenities, shower block and toilets. Pub next door, good selection of food and drinks. Happy staff. Good security measures, barrier locked at 22:30
