Liked Location to town, being able to order breakfast, private pitches, facilities.

Liked Welcome from staff, proximity to the countryside, cleanliness of the toilets and shower blocks, location, bar and pizza area, grassy pitches.

Disliked Our pitch was quite small, and if another family had been in the pitch next to us, we wouldn't have had much space at all.

Liked How quiet and peaceful the campsite was. Choice of pitches to stay in. The fact that you could have a fire. Location.

Disliked The showers were not quite so clean as I would have liked.

From the manager: Thanks for your great review Aleicia, we love that you found the site quiet and peaceful - that is our main aim! We are very sorry that the showers were not upto scratch over your stay, I can assure you we do clean them regularly and I think it is more dependant on other guests cleanliness - some are very respectful of shared facilities and others not so much! We could have just cleaned them, but if someone has come in and left them in a worse state they would stay like that until the next clean. If you contact us in an instance like this we would come and sort it immediately. We hope to welcome you here again in the future :)
