Liked We had an absolutely wonderful stay here over half term. Beds are super comfortable, owners very helpful and friendly. There are absolutely masses of toys available for the children, so much so that we hardly saw our ours apart from at mealtimes! We really appreciated the cool of the games room, and having a fridge and freezer available, given the very high temperatures.

Liked Nicely looked after site, toilets/shower/wash room etc nice and clean. Owner is quite helpful and thoughtful.

Disliked Pitches are very close together - the site as a whole is about the size of a large garden! Also, the road is very busy, and traffic noise continues all night. Can be quite hard work to get pegs in too, due to what appears to be rubble a few inches under the surface.

Liked A lovely little site, really well suited to young families. Kids (6, 5) absolutely loved all the toys, the indoor sandpit and especially the go-karts! It felt really safe, and we were happy to let them roam. They also made use of the craft room (extra cost) on the final morning. Adults appreciated the kettle and washing up facilities, plus having somewhere comfortable to sit inside when the weather was awful! We also really appreciated being told that there was no rush to pack up on the Sunday (due to not being busy with Sunday night bookings), which made our final day enjoyable, rather than an unpleasant rush to pack up. Wood for campfires was easily enough for 2 nights, so pretty reasonable at £10, and loved being able to borrow outdoor chairs, table, firepit etc - especially since we couldn't fit our own chairs in the car! Pitch was lovely and flat, and the outdoor shower was lovely :)

Disliked Would have liked to know that the pixie den (craft area) wasn't open access, as this is pictured without clarification.
