From the manager: Hi I am totally surprised to read your review. I do not normally answer reviews however I feel this is a very one sided review and does not reflect what happened. You choose and booked our site at 4.15pm on the day of your arrival. Campsites in September have plenty of space so maybe it would have been advisable to check out sites to see if they meet your specific requirements prior to booking. We are a small family run site I the owner cleaned the facilities prior to your arrival. So I know they were clean and fully stocked of toilet paper and hand soap. We have hot running showers and working toilets. We have a washing up area for dishes. We have drinking water / dustbin area and also fridge freezers for customer to use. We are a farm site, we don’t have a club house or heated bathrooms. When you arrived OUT side of office hours, you were very aggressive on the phone, I advised you to help your self to any pitch you liked as it was only yourselves on site that night. You were shouting on the phone so I kept explaining and explaining. I offered you to check in at the house but you refused. I explained where everything was and how to get to Newport and the Beach etc. When my daughter came home that night around 7pm she also went over to meet you and check you knew where everything was and how to get to Newport etc. You never mentioned anything to her or complained to her about anything. In the time between arriving and seeing her you would have seen the facilities, so had the opportunity to say something. When you left no one came to the office to express their disappointment etc. I’m a very fair person and I agree everyone has different expectations of what they require and want from a campsite - this was a 1 night stay only yourselves on site peaceful, so I’m not sure what could have honestly been so disappointing.
