Liked Lovely campsite on the banks of lake Anncey. Access to the lake and a small beach directly, with two bars and restaurants. Lots of shaded pitches. Bus stop straight outside to Anncey (40mins).
Disliked Could do with a little more in the shop as there’s nowhere else near, without getting in the car.

Liked Beautiful location, friendly people. The food was great value for money.
Disliked Toilets blocked and in a disgusting state on day of arrival. We’re still the same when trying to get washed in the morning. The showers were warm and reasonable clean however due to starting your shower outside this caused problems with people turning the showers on when you were finished and putting clothes on.
Rubbish was piled up and looked like it hadn’t been emptied for days.

From the manager: Thank you for your review! I Just wanted to highlight a few of your dislikes. Staff are on site daily to assist customers, If you are a late arrival, you are advised at the earliest opportunity to contact the site to inform them of this. in this case a member of staff contacted you, and was told that you would be a late arrival, so he informed you where your paperwork and pitch number would be left on arrival. I Can only apologise for the electric tripping, Unfortunately on occasion the electric does Trip, depending on what customers have plugged in, If you need to get hold of a member of staff out of hours, it is advisable to call the out of hours number rather than text, text messages quite often are not received or heard, by the time your text message was received the problem had already been rectified. We are sorry to hear you were having difficulties with the showers, you had reported both of them not working to myself at 08.30hrs monday morning, they were checked immediately and both found to be working completely fine. After speaking to other customers they haven't had any problems. The showers do not come on automatically, after inserting your 50p you do need to make sure the isolation switch is on and that you have pressed the power button for them to work. I hope this clears up a few things, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
