Liked Quiet. Nice food from butchers

Disliked Very steep uneven temporary road to an uneven camp field. One portaloo for whole site which was very smelly and no toilet roll. Hosts are not present, no clear direction either

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. We contacted you on the day of your arrival and asked you to let us know when you arrived, as you had pre-ordered a meat pack and fire pit. We were dealing with a function on site at the time, but as soon as we were free, we brought your order and fire pit directly to you. We also offered, and provided, a lift to the main road so that you could get your taxi. As a newly established wild campsite, the access road has only recently been put in and, as explained during your stay, it is currently an uneven temporary road while we continue developing the site. We are actively working on improving the access and facilities as the campsite grows. We’re also sorry that the toilet facilities were not up to the standard you expected. We take comments regarding cleanliness and toilet roll availability seriously and will make sure these are addressed. We appreciate all feedback as we continue improving the site, although we feel it is important that the review also reflects the assistance provided during your stay.
