From the manager: Hi Clara! Our pitches are very spacious since the redevelopment! Thank you for your 10/10 review and for noting the cleanliness which is one of our core commitments to our guests! We hope you'll consider joining us again in the future. 😊

Liked Beautiful, well kept site with spacious clearly marked pitches and friendly helpful hosts.
Good quality, practical clean showers and toilets.
Lovely washing up area with useful practical items available should you forget your own.
Tea/coffee/eggs for sale if required and leaflets & local information to read.
I loved the communal open barn area where the sinks and information were kept, with the large picnic table in the middle.
You've thought of and actioned everything for a great site.

Powered grass caravan site
Liked Fantastic spot next to the beach with a lovely circular walk back through a wooded area. Adjacent to the train track so you can watch the trains too.
Lovely spacious neat pitches, clearly marked.
Clean toilet.
Friendly hosts.
Disliked Limited facilities for size of site and some showers not working for part of our visit.
Had to pay for shower (coins), which for the higher price of the site compared to others, should be included.
Only one sink with very basic facilities for washing up.

Unpowered grass and earth caravan site
Liked Amazing views from the whole site, loads of space and open areas. Great for people with their own facilities in their vans or toilet tents.
Disliked Very large site for only 3 toilets and 1 shower, so queues for both.
Lack of running water at our visit so we couldn't wash up or refill water bottles.

From the manager: Sorry for the lack of water that was out of our hands but as for the facilities I think the facilities are more than adequate for the amount that we charge at 12.75 per night and there are two showers and men's urinals as well as three toilets thank you very much

Liked Lovely cosy quiet campsite, just off the A55 but no traffic noise at all. Basic but good clean facilities, ideal little food van for breakfast and wonderful hosts.
One of my new favourite sites.
