My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic weekend. Friday & Saturday night booking, wish we had booked a month long stay. Beautifully maintained site with toilet & shower facilities. Everything you could ever need for a fantastic little break out in the countryside. Upon arrival we were greeted by the site manager Steve and shown straight to our pitch. Steve was super professional, polite, knowledgeable and really went above & beyond to ensure my partner & I were catered for and comfortable from the off. Thanks Steve, your professionalism and dedication is a massive positive for the company for which you work and we cannot thank you enough for taking the utmost care to ensure our stay was both problem free and enjoyable from start to finish. Furthermore Steve, we’ll be seeing you again very, very soon (for a longer stay next time) 👍🏻
Absolutely stunning location, close to both Buxton & Bakewell for picking up those last minute bits & pieces or a coffee or beer.

Lovely small friendly campsite.
Steve the warden is a credit to the site as I left my glasses behind and he took the time to drop my glasses off at my home address….certainly went over and above.

Needs another shower as 1 for all the visitors isn’t really enough

Sloping site and when arrived, chap had no idea of booking had been made. Nice enough welcome.
Facilities poor for £25 and wouldn't stay their again. One toilet in a container, poor showers and wash facility grubby. Needs some money spending on it.

The camp manager was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Not overly keen on the cockrell at 4am, amenities very basic but nothing enough to spoil an overall great weekend.

It was peaceful, no noise during the night.
