Scenic and isolated site good location for visits to Buxton and Bakewell. Easy to locate and I had missed an email from the owners advising me of pitch number however I called on arrival and got sorted. (my email went into junk so check yours a day or so before your visit). Dog friendly too but be warned you can hear Chickens and a Cockerel and my husband said he saw Turkeys running around!? (I didn’t see them).

Facilities are as described very basic and could have benefited from a good clean. I couldn’t locate any facilities to wash up and an area around the toilet block was untidy and had an over flowing dog poo bag bucket.
Not a massive issue but note the Cockerel is an early riser!

Fantastic setting . Easy to park. Great owners . Enjoyed my stay . Views are amazing . Highly recommend

Everything except the weather, lovely place to stay, will absolutely be back, again, this was our second stay.

Lovely quiet site, nice location. Had everything we needed, basic shower and toilets. Great for visiting the local towns.

Easy to find, small, quiet and lots of farm animals around! There were two particularly friendly cats who hung around our campervan for a while, bringing smiles to our faces :D
Facilities were basic but clean.
We had a delicious roast dinner at The Royal Oak (5/10 min drive away).

Very uneven driveway from main road to campsite, so BE CAREFUL!

Showers were 🥶 so cold

Nice setting, very quiet when we stayed Electric tripped once, probably our fault. Easy to book. Shower & toilet were basic but clean , doable.

Hard standing sloped, Motorhome was still slightly uneven after putting the ramps under the front wheels.
