Awning set up was hard due to rocks under the grass

Peaceful, quiet site in a beautiful rural location. Perfect to getaway and enjoy the peak district.

Liked that the road to the campsite was gravelled and that the campsite was mainly gravelled too, toilets good and clean and not too much noise from neighbouring farms

The peaceful location (apart from the cockeral ! ) this little site is only about 6 miles from Buxton and really quite. Facilities are very basic but clean. The farm cat will come in if you leave your door open !

The turkeys, the pitches were nice and flat. So peaceful and tranquil.

Felt like £5 for an awning (which we didn't end up using due to wind) and £5 per dog is slightly wild!

Tranquil & beautiful, enjoyed the animals.

Remote location, immaculate , level pitches and well spaced, with water points on each hardstanding pitch
(We stayed on pitch 4)
Basic amenities but all clean and working. We had little to zero mobile signal(vodafone) but that is a plus point for us. Its a working farm so expect to see and hear chickens, cockerels, horses, turkeys and emus!

Site where vehicles are is immaculate.

People prior to us had left shower in a horrific state! No fault of site owners just scruffy people!
