Scenery was amazing

The site is lovely and quiet, the wardens were so lovely, very friendly and helpful, it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, we have a reactive German shepherd and we are new to caravanning, we were made to feel very welcome, we pitched up and went off for a walk around the village, we had an amazing time! We will definitely be returning!

The fact we had only booked one night ☹️☹️

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Longfield Farm. This is a basic site but beautifully kept with very nice views. I would definitely recommend and will be returning. The site is situated next to a small farm and my girls loved spending time looking over the wall the the animals.

I don't have any dislikes but, my only comment is no hot water for washing post.

We loved the plush green grass. The field was of top quality and well maintained. Each pitch had its own Electricity and Water Tap.
We loved how remote the site is. You can't hear any local traffic on any major roads.
Proximity to farm animals really nice.
Visits regularly from 2 hens and a cockerel to our tent.
Gorgeous views of the Peak District countryside.
We were very pleased with this campsite and would definitely come again.
Warm shower.
Strong 5G connection.

This site could so easily go to 5 stars if the amenities were slightly improved.
More sheltered washing up basins with direct hot water. Slightly raised as they were too low.
Update the shower - an easy fix would be to replace the shower head that slips down the shower rod.
Update the shower/toilet block.

Providing Wifi and improving the amenities would take this up to 5 stars.

Beautiful location. The site was immaculate and Steve couldn’t have helped enough. When we arrived we found out our electric hook up wasn’t working and Steve was straight into it and lent us a spare for the weekend- he even took ours to try to fix it! He recommended walks and places to eat.
So well looked after and we’ll definitely visit again- thank you!

Lovely well maintained site in a good location

The space was not overcrowded, the grass was like a carpet, but best of all, the farmer of the campsite is kind and friendly, he made us feel very comfortable.

Great site and very clean beautiful views

Very windy

The site is well maintained, grass is cut and looked after.
Electric hook up was easy to do, and a water tap located between pitches so no walking distance to fill the water bottles up
We were greeted when we arrived and the guy was very pleasent.
Only one shower there, but a couple of unisex toilets.
15 min drive to either Bakewell or Buxton, so a good location, and several local pubs for good food.
We liked it and will stay again when we want to camp in that area.
