Ever since it first launched in the ‘70s, Leeds has been a crown jewel in the UK’s annual festival calendar. A bucket-list event for catching performances by new and established artists, it’s been referred to as “the best music show on the planet” for a reason. International icons like The Who, the Foo Fighters and Nirvana have all graced the main stage.
If you're attending this event on a budget, book one of the campsites near Leeds Festival. You can save extra money by cooking on the campfire and swap pricey festival food for meals at on-site pubs and restaurants. Some sites also have other fun facilities: think golf courses, spas and games rooms.
