Ready for a few good lungfuls of fresh ocean air? Pick yourselves a pitch at Westport RV Park and Motel and that will certainly be part of the deal. This Washington site is on the Point Chehalis Peninsula, with South Bay on one side and the huge expanse of the Pacific Ocean about a mile away on the other.
This is a fabulous location for a relaxing retreat, whether you’re heading to the beach, going out fishing, exploring the nearby state parks or checking out the local museums and historic attractions. There’s a lovely peaceful atmosphere at the park, where you’ll be staying among tall trees and well-kept gardens – but it’s also a convenient town location where you’ll be able to walk to Westport’s shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes.
The park has been nicely set up with amenities – guests have access to an outdoor pool, a coin laundry, a wifi connection and bathrooms with toilets and showers. Dogs are welcome on site, and can have a good run around at the dog park.
Given its proximity to the coastline, this is a popular park with fishing fans – and it’s made even better by the presence of space for boat parking and a fish cleaning station for those who’ve had a good day on the water. Fish, meat, local veg – whatever you’re cooking up for dinner, you’ll be allowed to light a barbecue or campfire to give it that true outdoor taste.
