- Pool, restaurant, snack bar and TV room
- A few minutes' drive to shops, restaurants and cafés
Now this is a place for outdoor activities…. Camping Aldea Guntin is a site surrounded by countryside, in the Galicia region in north-west Spain and in an area filled with mountains, hills and valleys just the Spanish ticket for strolls, hikes, cycling, horse riding and canoeing. (And for relaxing among its nature and its spectacular scenery; that's a splendidly valid Spanish holiday activity too.)
The site has a seasonal swimming pool, a tennis court, a restaurant, a snack bar and a communal lounge with TV for sinking down in after a long day hiking around the region. Wifi is available in public areas.
Other facilities include a launderette, a well-maintained toilet and shower block, and a washing-up area. The shops, restaurants and cafés of Cañiza village are a few minutes' drive away.

Local attractions
Gorgeous gorgeous Galicia is famed for its natural surroundings such as its beaches for surfing and snorkelling, its cracking coastline and its capes, its rivers and its low mountain ranges. The Cíes Islands, Rías Baixas, Praia de Samil and Rías Altas are popular places on the coast, along with the rock formations and caves of utterly fab Catedrais beach: a snapshotting sojourn and a full day spent here is very much recommended.
The area also has many villages, plenty of events and mucho arty, historical and architectural highlights: have a cultured look at the likes of the much-visited 11th-century Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, the tower of Hercules (the oldest Roman lighthouse in the world that's still in use), the Castro fortress or the Monastery of San Salvador de Celanova.
Or might you fancy a day at the Aquarium Finisterrae in A Coruña? You surely should: it's a marine biology and oceanography centre between the Casa del Hombre and the Tower of Hercules, and is the home of seals, its Octopus Garden and one of the biggest display pools in Europe.
