Pitch up near the city of Valencia and be in the city centre in less than 25 minutes via a metro stop just 300 metres from the site – what a fab Valencia setting this is. Set off from here on foot or by public transport to delve into the sights of Valencia and its surroundings, all in the slightly smug knowledge that you've got a nicely priced Valencia base to come back to – all the better to have cash to spare for the bars and restaurants in town… If you want to stay on site – city days out might be a bit tiring for every day, after all – there's stacks to do to keep you entertained, from a pétanque court and swimming pool to the bar, restaurant and free wifi.

Unpowered earth tent site

Liked: Man hat einen schönen großen Platz bekommen auf dem mehrere Zelte drauf Platz hätten.Neben dem freundlichen Personal waren auch die Sanitäranlagen gepflegt und der Pool war sauber. Was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat waren die Bänke an denen man essen konnte (Dank der Beleuchtung auch Nachts). Es war ruhig und auch gut an die Stadt durch die Linie M1 angebunden. Der Shop und das Restaurant haben beide Recht lange offen. Durch die vielen Bäume gibt es auch genügend Privatsphäre auf den einzelnen Plätzen.

Disliked: Es gab leider einige Ameisen und nicht jede Bahn fährt bis zum Campingplatz, da es die vorletzte Station ist und einige Bahnen der Linie M1 davor umdrehen(trotzdem gut erreichbar).

Liked: Cela était à ma convenu dans l'essentiel, douche chaude, toilettes propres, Tranquilité , sans animations le soir. P'tit bar , p'tit dej , proposition de Paella certain soir à 10€50 Personnel sympa. Possibilité d acheter des billets pour activité sur Valence. + Métro à proximité ..

Disliked: Juste compliqué d'enfoncer les sardines de la toile de tente dans le sol .

Liked: Location to get into València via the tram and bar with food available, good quality at reasonable prices

Disliked: Pitches are quite tight and unfortunately whilst you have electricity included the power is quite low and unfortunately we were only able to run the fridge everything else was on gas.

Local attractions

Famously flat Valencia is tickety-boo for those who like to get around on two wheels, as parks and cycling trails crisscross the city and you won't find a hill in sight. Hire a bike in town and have a pedal round: this in itself is a tickety-boo occupation, but you could also stop off at some of the many wondrous Valencia attractions (you'll need more than one day, natch). Wander around the city centre and central market, see the cathedral and the Lonja de la Seda, hike the harbour and stroll the beach, or take the kids to the City of Arts and Sciences and to the Oceanográfico, the biggest aquarium in Europe.
