Disliked: Suite à un problème ayant nécessité une prise en charge par les urgences de l'hôpital (certificat médical pouvant être fourni), nous avons demandé à décaler le séjour d'une semaine (donc du 13 au 20 septembre). Nous n'avons jamais eu de réponse mais mon règlement a bien été encaissé, ce qui n'est pas très correct.

Liked: The area and the peace and tranquility. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Good food at the bar. Gorgeous pool area. Would definitely return.

Disliked: Only a small dislike really…the toilets were too far away and didn’t really like that you had to walk through the bar when people were eating after having a shower.

Liked: Wonderful location with exceptional restaurant on site. You’re nestled amongst the olive trees and there is even a free bike park on site. Easy walk to the town with historic castle and grocery store etc.

Liked: The setting is great. It’s so quiet but within walking of the lovely village of Cervera del maestre. The site is really great for cycling as well as hiking. The pitches are large and the facilities are very good and really clean. The on-site restaurant and bar is a great place to sit and relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Sehr nette Betreiber, die meinem Sohn ein Strahlen ins Gesicht gezaubert haben. Er wollte immer schon einmal Mountainbike fahren. Hier konnten wir spontan eine Einzelunterrichtsstunde für den nächsten Tag buchen und ein Fahrrad ausleihen. Der Preis war mehr als fair und unser Sohn möchte unbedingt noch einmal dort hin. Der Platz ist mit viel Liebe angelegt und auch wenn noch nicht alles fertig ist, haben wir die Atmosphäre genossen und nichts vermisst. Alles in allem ein rundes Erlebnis.

Disliked: Da wir eine eigene Toilette dabei hatten, störte uns der lange Weg zum Waschhaus nicht. Ansonsten wäre es für mich nachts schwierig geworden.

Local attractions

Time for a break from the bikes? Perhaps you’d like to take a half-hour stroll to the Centre d'Interpretació Molí de l’Oli to explore the museum housed in an old olive oil mill – or maybe give your legs more of a stretch with a walk along one of the trails at Parc Natural Tinença de Benifassà (an hour’s drive). Soaking up a little bit of the area’s history is a possibility, too – perhaps with a stroll around the pretty medieval town of Sant Mateu (15 minutes) or the ancient walled city of Morella (45 minutes). Castell d'Alcalà de Xivert (45 minutes) is another fascinating place to visit, with both Moorish and Christian influences visible in the building. Or, of course, you could head down to the coast for a day on the beach in Peniscola (half an hour). While you’re there, take a break from the sands to stroll through the Old Town and look out for places like the House of Shells and the castle.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Entertainment and activities are available between 01/01 and 31/12.

Firearms are not permitted.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

The bar is open between 01/01 and 31/12.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

There is no reception at this campground/park. Please check-in at the Bar instead.
