This Denia site is excellently located: Camping Los Llanos is a mere 250 metres from sandy Les Deveses beach and with a tasty selection of restaurants, bars and ice cream shops within easy strolling distance. Settle in here and it’d be easy to while away many a day grazing your way through all the eating options between extended spells of sand-based loafing. Windsurfing and scuba diving can be tackled at Les Deneses, with canoeing, surfing and kitesurfing all available at nearby beaches (plus plenty of places for paddling, of course). Panic not if the waves look a tad choppy for swimming; the site’s got its own pleasingly sizeable pool flanked by a playground where the nippers can dry off and a bar where the grownups can follow suit. A mini market supplies folks who’d like to cook up on one of the communal barbecues, and other facilities include a washing-up area and modern amenities blocks with toilets and showers Need more? Los Llanos is close to other famed family holiday hotspots, including Javea, Benidorm, Calpe, Moraira and Altea. The seaside cities of Valencia and Alicante are both an hour or so away by car when you fancy a dose of culture or a day spent sampling the cafés.

Great staff, value & beach access! Pool's a hit. Showers are clean with good hot water. Some facilities are a bit dated & pitches/noise can be an issue for some. Bar food limited, closes early. Sanitary blocks recently upgraded.

Liked Die sanitären Anlagen waren sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Disliked Der Stellplatz war sehr eng!!!!!
Die Fahrgasse auch - und die Camper links, rechts und gegenüber haben jeden, wirklich jeden Zentimeter ausgenutzt und das hat das ein.- und ausparken zusätzlich erschwert.
Traurig und wirklich schlimm waren die meisten Besitzer der zahlreichen Hunde und Katzen. Sie waren nicht in der Lage die Fäkalien ihrer Tiere zu entsorgen. Wie sind mehrfach auf unserem Platz in die Haufen getreten…. Und die nähere Umgebung des Platzes war mit „Tretminen“ verseucht.
Die Tiere können nichts dafür! Und wir sind auch nicht tierfeindlich - wir hatten selber Hund und Katze!
Außerdem waren die Bäume nicht beschnitten was unserem Wohnmobildach nicht gut getan hat.
Die Umgebung war leider recht unaktraktiv und ungepflegt - nicht nur wegen den Kothaufen.

Liked Guter Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge.
Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr gut und modern.
Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und bemüht wünsche zu erfüllen.

Disliked Die nahe Lage an der Straße ist zum schlafen nicht optimal. -manchmal ist es schon laut.
Stellplätze sind sehr klein, sodass oftmals das Vorzelt nicht aufgebaut werden kann.

Liked The quietness of the site. But never had our bikes with us and you definitely need bikes as it's a little bit out of the way. The pool was nice

Disliked Flies and mosquito as its surround by greenery bus stop near by but very infrequent service and 0.8 miles to aldi can be hard walking if lots of groceries needed so stock up before.

Liked Very modern toilet and shower facility's, cleaning staff work very hard to keep them clean all the time , staff were great, shop and pool on site, 10 mins walk from the beach. Overall good position for all facilities the area as to offer.

Disliked Small pitches, hard to get a caravan and car on, no dogs allowed beach from Jan 1st until October 31 which is very harsh on dog owners, then dog beach near the port In Denia is a unkept smelly dirty piece of scrap land with rotting seaweed around it, the sea was black, dog was ill after he went in to cool off, don't go on it.

Liked Really nice pool, small but well stocked mini market and an immaculate shower/toilet block which seems to be brand new.

Disliked Very narrow pitches with no partition as in hedge etc.
Long term residents with caravans, awnings and additional tents make it a bit like a shanty town in parts.
Overall it felt a bit cramped and lacked any privacy.

Liked Let op, een plek van ongeveer 7.0 x 8.5 (zoals in de omschrijving en ook op mijn bevestiging van pitchup), is eigelijk krap 4,5 x 7.0 , we hebben er 9 weken gestaan op een plek waar onze caravan met luifel net niet paste! Dit was één keer, nooit weer! Ruim vijftien vierkante meter kleinere plek dan toegezegd!

Liked Nice shaded campsite, facilities were spotless and cleaned regularly. It looks like they are being updated gradually as the mens are very modern and stylish. The pool area is nice and again very clean. The beach is a short walk across the road and there are bars and supermarkets within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bus service to Denia centre.

From the Autopista del Mediterraneo, exit at the KM203 turnoff onto the N332. Follow the directions towards the beach and continue onto the CV-730 Les Marines towards Denia. When you reach the KM11.6 turnoff, turn right.

Local attractions

The local beach with clean sands and calm waters is a short 250-metre walk from Camping Los Llanos and is a prime spot to spend the day with the kids. Nearby, the extensive amount of things to do should suit most tastes from nightclubbing to hiking, and of course the trad dishes and many beaches of the region should be enthusiastically sampled too. Theme and animal park goers could try Terra Mítica, Spain's biggest waterpark Aqualandia (both 40 minutes away in Benidorm) and seeing the apes, zebras, lions and elephants of the Vergel safari park (10 minutes). Indigenous creatures can be seen in the wild at the El Montgó nature reserve (20 minutes), also a hit with hikers and bikers. In Dénia, have a day at La Cova Talla (20 minutes), the huge sea cave and ancient quarry that's one of the most popular places in the region for history hunters: hire a kayak to arrive and then have a swim inside the cave when you're there. Otherwise, the Camping Los Llanos staff suggests making the most of your leisure time here with a highly attractive programme of waking up late, having a big breakfast, taking a bike ride and then a siesta, basking on the beach and then... time to party (all sounds jolly sensible for chilled-out hols).
