Liked: When arriving at the site we were pleasantly surprised at the standard. Toilets/showers were good and clean. Swimming pool area looked great and the bar/restaurant was excellent. Our meal on Friday night was amazing. Small town to explore.
Disliked: On our first only full day we were planning on using the pool area and relaxing. Unfortunately this wasn’t possible as the whole pool area was closed to paying campers for a private function. No mention of this when booking or even when checking in the afternoon before. Very poor state of affairs. If we’d have booked a site without a pool we’d have paid a lot less and yet the pool we had paid for was out of bounds. Very off putting b

Liked: Everything. Staff were great, pitch was good with lots of trees and plants around. Pool was really good! Everything clean and well maintained.

Disliked: Narrow pathways and roads to park van, also residents acting like they own the campsite. Look at you like you don't belong. Our money is as good as anybodies. At least I have a house......

Liked: Excellent facilities, very clean and well looked after. Very helpful reception.
Disliked: Small pitch, felt very crowded. Not exactly wild camping. Probably much better in the summer with pool and bar available outside.
