Jump in the carriage for a regal stay at Camping Cambrils Caban, a family-friendly site 10 minutes from the seaside town of Cambrils and 20 minutes from the Catalonia port city of Tarragona. You'll feel like kings, queens, princesses and princelings here, with plenty easily to hand that’ll keep you busy, entertained and well looked after: there’s a playground for the kids, football, basketball and ping pong for the sporty (and a projector so footie fans don’t miss any games), pétanque for a taste of local pastimes and two swimming pools for afternoon dips. When food is beckoning, there’s no need to travel too far – there’s a bar-restaurant next to the pool for quick snacks, welcome ice creams, refreshing cocktails and sit-down meals, and an on-site supermarket should have everything needed for evening barbecues. There’s so much to do on site it’d be easy to never leave, but be sure not to miss out on this gorgeous part of Spain. Rent bikes on site for breezy cycles along the coast, or stay close to base with trips into the UNESCO-listed city of Tarragona for history, shops and thrills at theme parks and waterparks. Awesome spot, close to the beach. Pool and staff get big ups. Facilities generally clean but a bit old. Shop and restaurant are good. Mostly peaceful, but a few heard noise. Motorhome folk found low branches tricky.

Had my phone stolen by the cleaners
Onky got half of my deposit back said that there plates missing but we never even used any they also gave the same excuse to to other of my family members and apart from that the park itself was really run down

Liked Emplacement idéal avec 2 jeunes enfants (pres de l’air de jeux, de la piscine ainsi que des sanitaires)
Les soirées à thèmes le soir jusqu’à 23h

Disliked Propreté des sanitaires assez succinctes (le sol est propre mais le nettoyage des douches et des toilettes est à revoir) avec en plus des douches fermées alors qu’on est en pleine saison.
Ne parle pas français donc difficile de ce comprendre sans Google traduction

Disliked Nou dat jullie niet het juiste vertellen in de advertentie op internet zware diefstal op die manier want niks wat ik las was daar aanwezig personeel heb je geen kloot aan als je toerist bent totaal geen zachte ondergrond kreeg de haringen niet fatsoenlijk de grond in alleen kutgrind en wc,s goor kakkerlakken liepen over de wastafel douche,s te klein zwembad geen glijbanen mag niet eens wat drinken bij je hebben mag niet met een bal over gooien drinken roken eten op zon terrasje ernaast eten 2 dagen besteld eind van het liedje hoor je kitchen closed zwaar slecht

What’s a sunny getaway without a splashing time at the beach? There’s a fab sandy stretch of the Costa Dorada five minutes’ drive (a 10-minute walk) from the site for strolls, sandcastles and swims, and a watersports centre is 10 minutes away for getting out in the water to give paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing a go. To get to grips with everything below the waves, try the diving centre within 10 minutes of base, or keep the watery activities altogether more controlled with an afternoon (or a whole day) 15 minutes away at Aquopolis waterpark. If that's got the kids screaming for more, never fear: PortAventura World is near. The whole family can get adrenaline spiking on theme park rides, cool off in the waterpark, or (and?) live out car racing dreams at Ferrari Land, less than 15 minutes from the site. Something for the grownups? A full explore of the coastal towns and villages comes highly recommended, with a stop at Tarragona for a cute Old Town, lots of UNESCO sites, stellar museums and plenty of shopping an absolute must. Not ready to head home? Celebrate a successful holiday with a tour of the dozen or so vineyards and wineries within an hour.
