Fancy a few days of feeling like royalty? Jump in the carriage for a regal stay at Camping Cambrils Caban, a family-friendly site 10 minutes from the seaside town of Cambrils and 20 minutes from the Catalonia port city of Tarragona. You'll feel like kings, queens, princesses and princelings here, with plenty easily to hand that’ll keep you busy, entertained and well looked after: there’s a playground for the kids, football, basketball and ping pong for the sporty (and a projector so footie fans don’t miss any games), pétanque for a taste of local pastimes and two swimming pools for afternoon dips. When food is beckoning, there’s no need to travel too far – there’s a bar-restaurant next to the pool for quick snacks, welcome ice creams, refreshing cocktails and sit-down meals, and an on-site supermarket should have everything needed for evening barbecues. There’s so much to do on site it’d be easy to never leave, but be sure not to miss out on this gorgeous part of Spain. Rent bikes on site for breezy cycles along the coast, or stay close to base with trips into the UNESCO-listed city of Tarragona for history, shops and thrills at theme parks and waterparks. Bien sitio para la tienda y el coche a tu lado

Dangerous electric box everything insude was loose

Slimy wood platforms in showers over open drain

Lots of tings broken and in need of repair

Water fountains dont work just a drip comes out occasionally

Taps on each sude of every electic box but none of them work

Toilets black inside with inground stains over a long period , need bleaching

The site had seen better days!

Liked: Spacious site with good tree coverage - pleasant to sit out. Pool was a good size.

Disliked: Reception had only one person, felt sorry for them, and booking in was lengthy so there was a queue and a long wait after a journey. All facilities were dated - washing up area had only cold water and no sink plugs, toilets and showers needed updating but worst of all the whole facilities area stank of drains and was really unpleasant to use at times. Leaves were allowed to pile on steps and were left uncleared throughout our stay. Bins were the municipal ones outside the site and so at a distance and were unlabelled, no onsite bins/recycling was provided. The shop had an array of empty shelves and was poorly stocked, so undeserving of its claim to be a supermarket. We never used the cafe/bar as it just looked so bland and uninviting. The whole site felt poorly cared for and hence our overall impression that it had seen better days. Despite this the price paid was the highest on our three week trip and so represented poor value for money.

Liked: Large sheltered pitches with electric and water. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Bathrooms need updating, shower cubicles were small and needed somewhere to put your things. However, toilets and showers were very clean.

Liked: Me encantó el sitio.... Parking sin problema ...luz sin problema ... Acceso a los servicios sanitarios muy bien y bastante limpios ... Bien ubicado cerca de la playa .... Burguer King cerca.... Servicios varios cerca del camping ...atención muy buena del personal. Repetiremos ...

Disliked: Faltaron actividades para adultos y poder bailar o alguna otra cosa más para entretener .... La piscina podría haber estado abierta hasta las 20/00.. el entretenimiento estuvo muyyy escaso.

What’s a sunny getaway without a splashing time at the beach? There’s a fab sandy stretch of the Costa Dorada five minutes’ drive (a 10-minute walk) from the site for strolls, sandcastles and swims, and a watersports centre is 10 minutes away for getting out in the water to give paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing a go. To get to grips with everything below the waves, try the diving centre within 10 minutes of base, or keep the watery activities altogether more controlled with an afternoon (or a whole day) 15 minutes away at Aquopolis waterpark. If that's got the kids screaming for more, never fear: PortAventura World is near. The whole family can get adrenaline spiking on theme park rides, cool off in the waterpark, or (and?) live out car racing dreams at Ferrari Land, less than 15 minutes from the site. Something for the grownups? A full explore of the coastal towns and villages comes highly recommended, with a stop at Tarragona for a cute Old Town, lots of UNESCO sites, stellar museums and plenty of shopping an absolute must. Not ready to head home? Celebrate a successful holiday with a tour of the dozen or so vineyards and wineries within an hour.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €80.00 ($140.50) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
