- On a Central Pyrenees former farm, established for over 35 years
- Between the Boí, Benasque and Aran valleys, 5 mins' drive from Bonansa
- Games room, free gym and a covered terrace with barbecue area
A valley farm run by people with heaps of holiday accommodation experience is the best way to describe Camping Baliera in the Central Pyrenees... it's between the Boí, Benasque and Aran valleys, and is a former cattle breeding farm that's been run as an accommodation site for over 35 years.
This Huesca province site five minutes' drive from Bonansa is in an area of nature walks and cycling, nature reserves, horse riding, fishing and foraging for mushrooms, and is a short drive from the ski resorts of Boí-Taüll, Baqueira-Beret and Cerler: if you need to know something about the local area, the team here have you sorted.
Set over two hectares, the farm has up to date facilities including a covered terrace with a barbecue area, a football pitch, a basketball court, a pétanque court and a communal room with ping pong tables and board games. Regular activities are organised throughout the year.
The two heated amenities blocks have hot showers, toilets, baby-changing facilities and baby bath tubs, washing machines and tumble dryers. And – bonus – Camping Baliera also has a gym for free use.

Local attractions
Most of what you fancy in weather warm or cooler will be available in the area around Camping Baliera – and if you're here in autumn, do bring a basket to take part in Catalan mushroom foraging, carried out in these parts for centuries. (Caution is needed when foraging for fungi, natch, so make sure to bring a guide or to book a tour.)
The villages around here often have impressive architecture to see: you'll see what this means if you get to Roda de Isábena and its cathedral dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries... (Roda de Isábena is the smallest village in Spain with its own cathedral).
The Romanesque route of the Boí valley winds through mountain villages and their old churches, also Romanesque as you might have guessed and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000. Or get fully into nature with an explore or two around the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici and the Posets-Maladeta, 20 and 50 minutes' drive away.
