Camping La Viñuela

Liked: Peace and quiet. Friendly reception staff. Beautiful views. All facilities we needed. Fab walk adjacent to the campsite for dogs.

Disliked: The showers could do with a bit of updating. 3 showers - only 1 really useable as a door panel didn't shut on one, and another didn't have the head to the shower so it was just a hose. Although they were clean.

Liked: This was our second time returning to this lovely campsite. It´s situated right next to woodlands, it has a really big pool, the pitches are good sizes, and everything is so peaceful and beautiful there.

Disliked: It could do with a few touch-ups in the bathroom and the pool tiles but didn´t affect our stay negatively at all, we had an awesome time.

Comentarle que no tenemos cerca ningún salón de fiestas, lo que ha pasado es que durante su estancia han sido las fiestas del pueblo que está cerca del camping, y por eso escucha la música, pero es algo puntual, pues han sido las fiestas del pueblo. Liked: El sítio es precioso. Muy bueno para quien hace senderismo y aprecia vistasos. Pitres tiene un festival en agosto que es muy alegre y la gente muy simpática. El staff del camping es muy amable y generoso. En Pitres hay un centro de observación astronomica con telescopios muy potentes y tuvimos una clase magnífica con Ruben. Volveré más veces y recomiendo la visita.

Liked: When we arrive, the view of the reservoir was lovely. This soon changed when we saw the rest of the site. It bore no resemblance to the pictures on Pitch up. They must have been taken many years ago. The site was poor. Toilets were old with glass panelled cubicles. We couldn’t even put toilet paper down the pan! Very old fashioned. They weren’t particularly clean either. As for the swimming pool, there were that many tiles missing in the pool, I’m surprised no-one suffered an injury. It was full insects and quite frankly a health hazard. It was so bad, we left a day early. Even the sign above the entrance to site is broken. The pictures imply the lake is part of the site but this not the case at all. The only saving grace is the bar/restaurant is good and reasonable. Will most definitely not be coming again.
