Tucked away in the mountain foothills of Liguria, Top Village is a holiday park on the outskirts of the sleepy village of Lerca di Cogoleto. It’s a peaceful spot with far-reaching views over mountains to the Ligurian Sea, and is yet only 10 minutes by car to the beach, and half an hour’s drive from the historic and lovely city of Genoa.
Accommodation is in cosy wooden units sleeping up to five guests in an arrangement of double, single and bunk beds. Each one has a well-equipped kitchen, ensuite bathroom and living space with a dining table and comfy sofa. Outside there is shaded decking with tables and chairs for alfresco dining.
There’s a swimming pool exclusive to holiday park guests, with more spectacular views towards the coastline from the sundeck. The beaches of Cogoleto are 10 minutes’ drive away (there’s a bus service that runs down to the coast), and there are a couple of restaurants serving regional pasta dishes within 15 minutes by car.
