If you’re hoping to find a place to park your caravan or motorhome near Munich… well, it doesn’t get much closer than this. The pitches at Sonnenhaus München are in a private car park on the edge of the city (in west Munich), giving you easy access to its central attractions through the day and night. Getting into the city centre is a doddle from here – a 15-minute walk takes you to Pasing station, from where it’s a speedy five-minute train ride to the main station. This means it’s splendidly straightforward to get out to the Old Town and the museums, or to head out for an evening at the theatre or one of the city’s many restaurants, bars and beer halls. Closer to home, you’ll be able to walk to the nearby Schlosspark Nymphenburg, one of the city’s top attractions, and find numerous shops and places to eat within a few blocks. Food trucks also often park up in the grounds for tasty and easy meals. The pitches offered here are in a private car park, so they’re very simple and don’t have access to any services or facilities except for water points and electric hook-up points. That means you’ll need to be self-sufficient with things like bathroom facilities and drinking water. A gym is 10 minutes' walk away, where guests can buy daily passes to use the facilities and showers.

Disliked Fühlte mich wie Eingesperrt, da der Platz während der Nacht komplett Verriegelt wurde mit Ketten und Vorhänge Schlössern an Zufahrt und Zaun Tor und das bis 8.30 Uhr am Morgen. Beim Zaun Tor war die Kette zum Glück "nur" mit Draht fixiert, so dass ich am Morgen raus kam mit meinem Hund. Ich war schon kurz davor, die Polizei zu rufen, denn es gab keinerlei Info darüber, dass man hier "Eingesperrt" ist. Für mich ein Totales No Go, nie wieder Sonnenhaus, dass wie ein "verlassenes Geisterhaus" wirkte. 😪

In einer halben Stunde ist man in der Münchner Innenstadt mit der S-Bahn.

Nachts ruhig und abends ist manchmal Mos Foodtruck da, der sehr gute Burger und noch bessere Pommes anbietet
