- Peaceful family-friendly site next to a pond in Carladez countryside
- Château de Messilhac and Natura - Bien Etre Brommat 10 minutes’ drive
- Fishing, pool and pétanque on site; supermarket five minutes’ drive
Found at an altitude of 640 metres and edging both the Aveyron and Cantal departments, Camping de Trionac is set on three leafy hectares of lush Carladez countryside. Far-removed from the pace and bustle of big campsites, this is a secluded spot with partially shaded grass pitches centred around a peaceful pond.
It may be a quiet, family-friendly spot, but you can be sure there’s plenty to do. Anglers can practise their casts on the pond, while other on-site amenities include a swimming pool, pétanque and volleyball courts, and ping-pong tables. The knowledgeable staff at reception can also organise horse riding in the Aveyron hills (10 minutes’ drive) or watersports on Lac de Sarrans (20 minutes), and advise on hiking and cycling routes accessed directly from the pitches.
There’s also a small bar next to reception where you can enjoy snacks and regional wines when soaking up the evening sun. If you need to stock up on anything, there’s a supermarket about five minutes’ drive away in Taussac.
