Camping Municipal du Domaine de Longemer has flat and shaded or sunny pitches, in its setting 750 metres above sea level in the Ballons Natural Park.
Five minutes from Gerardmer and ten minutes from La Bresse, the site is in the Vosges Mountains, set by the Lake Longemer lake and near its forest. It has free wifi at reception, a bar, a games room with pool table and table football, a playground, a TV room and a pétanque court. A kids' club runs in July and August for ages four to 12.
Amenities include two toilet blocks including facilities for disabled guests, and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers.
Camping Municipal du Domaine de Longemer also has picnic areas and a grocery shop.

From the site you can access walking and mountain biking trails, paintballing, fishing, pedal boating and row boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, a cyclosports centre and cross-country skiing. A short distance away there's also a pool, a skating rink, a bowling centre, a fitness trail, an adventure course, summer sledging, bungee jumping, and go-karting.
The ski resorts of La Mauselaine and La Bresse are five and 20 kilometres away; other options are day trips to the cities of Gerardmer and La Bresse
