Liked: It was nice to have a heated pool and the site was well maintained

Disliked: The pictures of the pool on the website are quite deceptive as it’s actually really small (not suitable for swimming). We were also given a really small pitch which was difficult to drive a small van into. The site felt very compact. The staff at the reception weren’t particularly friendly and couldn’t answer questions. Wifi was very temperamental. This site was quite expensive for September and it wasn’t clear why.

Liked: Well laid out site with lots of shade
The pitches are a mix of tents Motorhomes and small lodges that you can rent
Big amenities block with lots of spacious showers all kept very clean
Pitch’s are individual surrounded by mature hedges and trees
Staff are welcoming and friendly
The pool was heated and a good size

Disliked: Nothing really I suppose the entrance would be a bit small if you had a large caravan and Motorhome but as we was camping it didn’t affect us

Liked: Lots for kids (slides, pool, bouncy castles)
Facilities kept very clean
Staff friendly
Snack bar for drinks and ice cream

Disliked: Very noisy all the way through the night (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper)
Electricity points difficult to access on some pitches - 3m cable recommended but this wouldn’t have reached from our pitch and we had to ask for a splitter because all four points were already in use

Disliked: Réception fermée à notre arrivée. Piscine pas propre autour et à l entrée. Soirée à nous de mettre les tables pas prêt. Joue dans le noir. Trop de bruit la nuit.barriere pas fermée la nuit

From the manager: Bonjour, Nous sommes ravis de savoir que vous ayez trouvé votre emplacement agréable. Pour ce qui est des horaires d'ouverture de la réception, ils sont affichés sur le site pitchup ainsi que directement affiché sur la vitre de la réception avec un numéro de téléphone pour tout problème en dehors des horaires d'ouverture qui sont 9H00-12H00 et 16H00-19h00. Pour ce qui est des soirées, nous avons des spots de lumière afin de justement éclairer la scène ainsi que les tables devant préalablement installé lorsqu'il y a une soirée. Pour ce qui est des barrières, uniquement les personnes avec le code d'accès peuvent entrer dans le camping. Thibault

Liked: Les sanitaires douches lavabo etc...propres

Disliked: Non conforme à nos attentes. Piscine trop petite pour le nombre de personnes accueillies je dirais même patogeoire à la place de piscine 50 cm d'eau. Pas ombragé. Emplacement pas droit galère pour monter caravane pliante.....etc.....

From the manager: Bonjour, Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez trouvé les sanitaires propres. Pour ce qui est de la piscine, celle-ci fait 1m50 de profondeur. En revanche, la pataugeoire pour les enfants fait bien 50 centimètres de profondeurs. Nous sommes surpris que vous ayez trouvé le camping non ombragé, car nous avons énormément de pins dans le camping et tous les emplacements sont séparés par des haies. Cordialement, Thibault

Liked: we stayed on pitch over looking the sea, great views. Although the pitch was tight and difficult to park in.
Shower/toilet block and washing facilities are new and the cafe/restaurant are good, especially the view.
When the refurbishment is completed, this could be an excellent site.

Disliked: Lack of amenities near to site, if you want to walk for food/restaurants or shopping, is the only issue.

Disliked: Our pitch was right next to the water slide for pool so noisy during the day. At night, children playing/shouting at 1am.
Despite arrival time on our booking saying 2pm, reception not open until 3. Pulled up at barrier but had to reverse back twice as reception not manned.
Probably more suited to family than couple without children
Wifi only available at reception, not pitch

As far as the pitch is concerned, we only rent the pitches close to the playground when we are full and we are sorry that children have been playing late at night. The reception hours are 9am-12pm and 4pm-7pm. There was an error on the pitchup website, but this has since been rectified. We hope to welcome you again in our establishment. Thibault
