What customers say

A sweet spot by the river, great for couples and families. Praised for super clean facilities, friendly owners, and delicious restaurant food. Generous pitches, a good pool and play areas were big hits. A few mentioned cooler showers and unclear food opening times.

Liked Really nice campsite in a lovely area. The showers and toilets were spotless. I only stayed one night and didn’t get to try the bar or restaurant but the man who checked me in was really friendly and would definitely recommend staying here.

Liked The site is lovely, I booked it due to a recommendation on Facebook. It is perfect for couples or families. The site has two pin and three pin electric hook up points. The showers and toilets are spotless. Albeit the showers are cold which for their climate is perfect. There are also washing machines on site. There is a small pool and a family run restaurant which is also open to the locals and produces excellent food. There is a big field for children/adults to play badminton/tennis/football/trampoling. The site is next to the river where you can go kayaking/fishing etc. The little village which is next door to the site in is also beautiful. We only stayed for the night as a stop over however I would happily stay again. The owner was warm and welcoming.

Liked Pool amazing, site facilities and Restaurant brilliant - kids loved the trampoline and football pitch it has everything you need (no shop) pitches are lovely, food is very very good and the bar area lovely and welcoming - kids loved the ice creams

Disliked Opening times/days for food availability not clear in such a rural location - no signs explaining WiFi or washing facilities a fact sheet would solve and make it 5*

Local attractions

Many a pretty French village is easily reachable around these parts, like Fourcès, Fleurance, Mézin, Donzac, Lectoure, Larressingle, Bassoues and Nérac, all within an hour’s drive, and some within easy cycling distance. Should you opt for a visit of the latter on the list, it’s highly recommended that you don’t miss exploring l’exquisite Chateau Henry IV and the equally so Saint-Nicholas church. Another tiptop spot to rock up to is the fine former episcopal town of Condom, once an important stopover on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route; tours of its little Old Town and cathedral are just two of the highlights, visits to which you can follow with promenade around its pleasant streets, popping in and out of its Armagnac cellars for samples of the local brew. If you want to delve deeper into the town’s culture and heritage, you can also visit a local museum that’s dedicated to telling the tale of the town’s Armagnac production. If you’re a self-confessed food fanatic, there’s lots in the way of that too in the locale: pack an empty hamper into the car and head to the traditional markets around Fréchou, Nérac, Condom and Lavardac, where you’ll be able to pick up all sorts of tasty local treats to bring back to base or sample on the spot.
