Local attractions

Nearby attractions include many pretty French villages such as Fleurance, Fourcès, Mézin, Donzac, Lectoure, Larressingle, Bassoues and Nérac. If you opt for a visit of Nérac, you should really not miss exploring the outstanding Chateau Henry IV and the Church of Saint-Nicholas, a large church with a baroque style facade built in the eighteenth century.

Another beautiful village is Condom, once an important stop-over on one of the pilgrimage paths to Santiago de Compostela. Visit the Cathedral of Saint-Pierre and its associated cloisters as well as the small medieval old town where you can feel the magical atmosphere of the place just by walking along the pleasant streets.

Don't forget to try the local brew while in Condom - Armagnac is produced here and there are several places where you can taste samples of the delicious beverage. There is also a small museum dedicated to the art of Armagnac production.

Discover the traditional markets of the area with the Fréchou, Nérac, Condom and Lavardac's markets where you will find mouth-watering local products for a real taste of the French cuisine.
